Bottle pours a hazy dark amber, with a modest, light tan head. Fairly quickly dissipates to a thin soapy ring that still leaves nice lined of lacing. Soft aroma of light malts, vanilla and banana. Flavor is pale, light on the hops and a gentle light malt flavor. A session beer I suppose, but not very interesting.l very little bitterness on the trailer, but a nice bodya dn feel. Lightly carbonated.

Another nice beer from a good brewer. Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a chestnut color with a small light tan head. The aroma is light sweet malts. The flavor is sweet and tangy light malts with a hint of fruit. The mouthfeel is smooth and the finish is crisp. My kind of session beer.

Style # 59 Nose of fruity caramel, slightly hazy amber with a small beige head. flavor of caramel and watermelon, different than any other style i’ve tried.

Clear amber/orange pour with a small white head that hangs around the entire glass. Very mild malty aroma, sort of sweet. Taste is also mild, sweet and syrupy. Nice bodied, but lacked flavor intensity.

I’ve had both the draft and bottled version, which was virtually the same. Cloudy copper/amber in color with a small head. Sweet aromas of hops, spice, vanilla, and bread. Vanilla cream flavor, with hints of spice. Tasty, but I prefer the Winter Solstice.

An amber beer with a thin orange-brown head. The aroma is hoppy with notes of oranges and grapefruit, while the flavor is sweet with notes of caramel as well as slight notes of hops.

Bottled. Ruby, brief head. Aroma of toffee with a hint of red currant. Fairly sweet with soothing creamy mouthfeel and medium body. The flavours are wrapped in layers of soft cotton, creating a pleasant, but one-dimensional beer.

2005 bottle consumed 6/9/2005 and 6/14/2005. Orange-toffee colored with light maroon hints. Very slight haziness with a yellowish head that fizzles to a ring quickly. No lacing. Bit of oranges in the nose, light caramel and orange creamsicles. Soft, fruity hops. Buttered popcorn, cracker jacks with peanuts and light citrus fruits. LOTS of breadiness. Bready, dry texture, fizzy carbonation is peppery and slightly annoying. People at the store where I bought this were raving about it. I guess it went over my head, not sure what is good about this. It’s got a sweet butter cream and buttery popcorn flavor mixed with oranges. I guess it does what it attempts to do, that is, make an orange cream beer, but I don’t see how that is refreshing for the summer. The hops up front are enjoyable and present in reasonable quantity, but the beer is extremely full of water, very loose textured and I find the cream flavor to be nasty and sugary. Very odd. Nothing like some candy corn, cracker jacks and a glass of creme de curacao on a hot day!!
