Can from Sam's Quik Shop. Pours brown with a small beige-tan head. Pours quite light for a porter. I'd guess, if I only saw it, that it's a brown ale. Aroma is cocoa powder, roasted nuts, caramel. Smells like a brown too. Only a hint of coconut on the ass end. Flavor is toasted nuts, caramel malt, very light coconut in the finish. Unremarkable. Also, call this a brown ale.

What the hell i wrote full review and dumb slider supersceedes it. Light brown too light for porter. Nose and tastes of root beer and cocoa powered light malt. Weak brown ale let alone porter. Coconut is subdued and non artificial which I appreciate but unremarkable.

A reddish brown porter with a thin mocha head. In aroma, sweet chocolate malt with caramel notes, light coffee, nice but no coconut. In mouth, sweet chocolate malt with light coconut butter, oily mouth feel, vanilla, OK. Can at OttBottShare March 2017.

12 oz can poured, picked up in St. Pete. Pours a near black cola with a disappearing head. Cookie spice, chocolate, and coconut aroma. Flavor is sweet, and semi syrupy. Coconut comes through if you look for it. I enjoyed this more as it warmed up a tiny bit. It’s advertised qualities really come out at that point. Nutty, sweet over toasty finish. Decent beer here.

Dark brown body with a thin, very fast-dying tan head, only a bit of froth on top after a few seconds. Aroma of malt, coconuts, earth, nuts and a faint bit of alcohol. Light to Medium-bodied; Assertive coconut flavour at first with less malt than expected, but more nuttiness and cardboard flavours, coupled with the very subdued sweetness and corn flavour. Aftertaste shows almost no body at all - this is watery, but also not much depth and no complexity. Overall, a decent beer at best - it is drinkable, but not showing much of anything to make it a repeat buy, even if I could get this one. I sampled this twelve ounce can purchased from Knightly Spirits (Orange Blossom Trail) in Orlando, Florida on 01-October-2015 for US$1,99 sampled at home in Washington on 10-December-2015.
