Tap @OIB, Vero Beach, FL.
Deep golden color, small off-white head, some lace. Citrus, a bit resiny aroma. Medium-bodied. Sweetish, piney-resiny flavor, citrus. Not really showing its ABV. Sweetish aftertaste. Ok.

Draft - Orange, caramel and a bit of booze. Cloudy copper orange with a thin white head. Sweet caramel, orange and a bit of booze. Like a Barleywine with the big malt build. Nice, and a direct relative of Big Nose.

Sampled from the tap at the Cajun Cafe Fall Fest. Pours a hazy amber with a yellowish brown head that dissipates to the edges and laces slightly. Aroma has sweet grains and caramel with a thick sappy pine hop note. Flavor starts with more bitter pine has some sappiness and a bit of caramel in the finish to balance the bitterness.

A clear golden amber IPA with a thin white head. Another meaty and floral hops aroma, with some nice muskey notes, almost sexual. In mouth, an intense malt with nicely balanced floral hops, oily resins, quite nice and classic, warming alcohol, just right. On tap at Cigar City, May 22 2010.

On tap on cask at the ‘010 FL Brewer’s Ball. Pours up copper with slight haze and off white head. The aroma is pretty robust with hop spiciness, some sweet malts, floral, a touch of soap and hop resin. The taste is sweet malts moving to pine hop resin, hop spiciness, a touch of grapefruit and staying hop resiny into the finish. It has lingering hops resin supported by echoes of malty sweetness heading deep into the after taste. Full of flavor. Nice!
