From old tasting notes. Brewed by Stroh Brewery. Pale gold color with a small white head. Looks like Ginger Ale. Slight crab apple malt aroma. Tangy malt flavor. Highly carbonated.nsome dryness in finish. Brief bitter aftertaste.

A pretty standard pale lager. When fresh from an ice bath it is quite refreshing and void of most flavor. A hint of hop bitterness rounded out with light malt sweetness. As it warms on the beach it gets quite off-putting. Nothing to see here, move along.

Bottle in our Maui apartment, 25/04/14. Clear pale goden with a moderate off white head that retains well. Nose is pale malts, cereal, corn, hint of vanilla, straw, sweetish notes. Taste comprises cereals, pale malt, light honey, straw, sweet licks. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, smooth on the palate - nice feel, sweetis close. Had worse pale lagers but most of this was sent to the Pacific!

On sale at Liquor Mountain for just 138 yen, they also had Anchor’s Humming Ale for 148 yen. It pours like a typical macro-lager, gold with a fizzy white head. It looks fine. The aroma grains, grass & some biscuit. Medium-bodied the carbonation gives it a slightly rough mouthfeel. The taste isn’t so bad, not syrupy sweet like most macros I really get that cane sugar/brown sugar taste, some light malts and a dash of bitterness at the finish alas I get some wet cardboard too which is a bummer. Ok for a macro.

Can during a flight with Hawaiian Airlines between HNL and OAK, August 2013. Clear golden with a white head. A typical boring and sweet Pale Lager with a weak aroma and taste of bread, paper and light notes of fruit.

Draught at the Yard House, Honolulu, HI
Blond color. The aroma is a bit Cornish, but the flavor even more; dry and smooth mouthfeel. Low bitterness, with a meaty feeling in the final.
Poor.

Shaker pint draft at the Pineapple Grill at Kapalua golf course on Maui. The pour is clear golden, with not too much of a white head. The aroma is sweet honey malt, a bit of grassiness and not much else. The taste is sweet sugar malt, along with an unclean yeast, grassy dry finish. The palate is light to medium bodied, high level of carbonation and the sweet finish. This was easy enough to drink.
