Tap @ Borefts Beer Festival 2015. Pours black. Aroma is peaty, smokey, malty, chocolate. Taste is about the same, campfire ashy notes, chocolate, smoke, peat. Ugh. I’ll never like something this smoky.

Tap @ Borefts 2015. Black. believed to be matured for 3 years on Ardberg barrels. I’m not surprised. Quite dominant peat. Sweet, full bodied. Initial malt and raisin, with dominant peat and toffee in the aftertaste. World class.
