Pours a pitch black with barely a head. Aroma of roasted malts, coffee, liquorice. Flavour is more coffee, coffee, coffee... No carbonation to speak of. A bit thin though, would have been great with a fuller body. Bitter coffee finish. Nice brew, enjoyed it.

Bottle. Deep dark brown color, only traces of a head. dark chocolate and fresh Guatemala coffee in the aroma. Low on carbon. Coffee flavor with tart and bitter notes. Dark chocolate. Malty sweetish, creamy and oily mouthfeel. Some herbal hops. Well balanced, with some minor mistakes.

Bottle @ home, bottled October 2014, so over 3 years of age. Surprised I hadn't rated it yet, as I'm sure I had it at one Utrechts Brouwers Festival... Black color. Huge beige head, in fact, I had a large glass, but had to wait twice until most the foam was gone so I could pour more. Aroma's: at first light sweet, roasted, fruity, later on it's full on ground coffee, some fruity sourness that you often get with coffee. Retronasal still lots of ground coffee, some sweetness, chocolate, roasted malts, fruity sourness. Flavor: light moderate sweet, roasted moderate bitter, with light sourness. Gushing in the mouth in the beginning. Long finish with hard roast, moderate bitter. Still very enjoyable.

Bottle, 330 ml, shared with JFK10000. Pours black with large lasting tan head. Great coffee aroma. Roasted malts, chocolate, coffee. Sweet. Light to medium bodied, not too much of an aftertaste. Expected more after great aroma.

Deep brown opaque. Coffee bones, earth on nose. Light to medium body. Roasted flavour. Coffee. Bit vinous. Light bitterness. Roast & hop on aftertaste. Interesting but not my cup of tea.

Trocken röstiger, weich kaffeeartiger Antrunk. Minimal herb, sehr süffig. Steigende, mild süße Kaffeenoten, natürlich, etwas Vanille. Minimaler Hopfen, kurzer, dennoch voluminöser Nachgeschmack. Gut! 11/10/11/11/9/11

Monumentális, örökké tartó, barna hab, fekete szín. Fekete csokis, kávés, aszalt gyümölcsös illatok. Száraz és fanyar, savanykás, feketecsokis-pörkölt malátás ízvilág, kávés aromával. Testes sör. Kissé sok a savanyú.

Bottled 330ml. -Almost black coloured, small brown head, pure chicory nose. Roasted malt, chicory, light coffee and milk chocolate with some notes of acidity. Filter coffee and ash in the finish. One-dimensional and quite letdown.

Bottle. Dark brown stout with coffee foam. Strong aroma of earthy coffee, roasted and burnt malt. Taste: coffee, caramel, spicy and hoppy.
