Draught at Wig Wam last night so they must be brewing it again. A very pleasant orange with a white head. Fresh, juicy citrus notes throughout. A mild toasted malt backbone carries it just enough but the player on the scene is the citrus. Finish is full of that juicy citrus and get a tad sweet. Very enjoyable DIPA.

Bottle from Happy’s Market, Ellensburg, WA; no ABV on bottle
Hazy amber color, medium sized head. A good American Barley Wine, as it’s well malty, noticeable from the moment you pour; sweet, rich, with nice hopping, lowering bitterness, but still good fruits and hop resins.
Very good, but probably not fresh.

Bottle - Sweet earthy hops and caramel. Dirty gold with a decent off white head. Sweet caramel and bitter hops with a long sweet bitter finish. Not bad.

Sample at the brewpub. This brew pours a clear deep amber color with a medium off-white head that diminishes slowly. Patchy lacing on the glass. The aroma consists of hops, fruit and sweet malt. Medium to full body with flavors of floral hops, earthy malt and fruit. The finish is hoppy with a short citrus aftertaste. Decent overall.

From tap at the brewpub. Pours hazy yellow with a small white head. Aroma is dense hoppy, light malty note. Thick malty, orange fruity and dense grapefruity. Smooth and fruity finish.

22oz bottle. Chunky, thick orange tan. Steady, creamy beige head. Thick, resinous hop aroma. Piny, deep burnt caramel notes. Smooth yeast tones add another layer of depth. Despite the moderate ABV, this one comes off just as thick and rich as an 11% beer can...not really an alcohol burn as much as a rich, malty body. Relatively standard for the style, in a good way. Lots of hop depth. Nice.

On tap at Bottleworks, pours orangey amber with a white head. Wonderful aroma of piney hops, caramel malts (just enough to balance), grapefruit and mango. The flavour is no less hoppy, with citrusy hops, balanced perfectly with caramel malts. The palate is fruity and leaves a sweet caramel finish. Delicious - really well-made.

Moderate hops in the aroma. Some sweetness in the aroma, with citrus. Sweet malt flavor, balanced by moderate hops. Cloudy brown color. Good.

Pours hazy copper – brown with thin off white head. The moderate aroma brings up malts and mild pine hops and citrus hops. The taste has a nice load of sweet late addition citrus hops with notes coming from grapefruit, orange juice and tangelo. Those hop notes are followed up by some pine hop bitterness and a bit of chewy sweet maltiness. Is this a session IIPA? Very drinkable with solid hops but they’re just not all that bitter.

Courtesy of ibrew2or3. Pours orange Aroma, hoppy, yeasty (earthly). Taste, hoppy, light bitter hoppy aftertaste (floral). Sugary, caramel malts. Beer remains sweet, caramely.
