12 oz bottle purchased as part of a beers of summer 10 pack at World Market. Pour is yellow golden, fully hazy with some protein particulates floating about. The pure white one inch head falls fast. Aroma is noticeably floral with a bright lemon citrus. General yeast spiciness, clove is present below the floral and fruit. Taste is lemon citrus fruit and the floral yeastiness. Nothing really is sharp or out of balance, nice and integrated. As it warms ginger and coriander ome out. Palate is full bodied, yet light and refreshing with a lingering floral finish. Nice enough wit.

12 oz bottle as "Summer Seasonal White Ale." Pours a cloudy golden color, medium sized white head. Aroma contained spices, yeast, orange peel. Flavor was yeast, orange. A decent Belgian white ale for warm summer days.

Hazy golden coloured body with a very thin white head. Aroma of lemon, wheat, yeast and strong coriander seed. Light-bodied; Nice mild wheat/yeast flavour with plenty of citrus and curacao. Aftertaste is very mellow-amazingly fresh. Overall, a good summer wheat - odd for me to say - especially from Mendocino, but its a good beer! Definitely one to try this summer! I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from Norm’s in Vienna, Virginia on 02-June-2005 at Jon(R888710)’s.

I don’t know, I just keeping drinking this this summer and I am always surprised by the low ratings. So finally I will add my 2 cents. Pours as it should, pale yellow but the hazy enough that one cannot see through it. A very radiating yellow color is accompanied by a small but resilient head. Aroma is very coriander and light lemon. I could see that the coriander may be a bit strong. Taste is faint banana esters, light lemon and a bit of sweetness and a lot of coriander again. Basically exactly what I want from a standard Wit. Very thirst quenching without being thin or light. A small strong carbonation fades rather quickly. Long zingy coriander aftertaste. I like this stuff a lot, I need another six pack.

12oz bottle. New "White Ale" label. Slightly unpleasant artificial wheat aroma. Excellent thick, yeasty appearance. Wheat, mild citrus and vanilla flavors collide. Not a perfect example of the style, but I think it has more character than your typical American Wit. Lemony watery smooth finish.

Godlen with good finger thick white head. Nose is of spices and orange peel. Fizzy, arome has notes of coriander, wheat and orange peel, with the sourness of citrus and yeast. Had many sediments floating in the bottle.

Very milky pale yellow with a 1cm thick bleached head. The aroma is somewhat fecal...bad pedio infection on this one...with light citrus and abundant marshmallow malts. The palate is spritzy with lots of coriander spiciness atop fluffy marshmallow. Fecal presence remains, albeit more subdued.

Summer Seasonal White Ale 12oz bottle that pours up hazy white-ish straw with thin white head. The aroma is lemon, un-ripe orange peel, hay, wheat, bubble gum, spices and some green and red apples. The taste is bold and yet refreshing. Nice summer product. I get lemon that combines with sweetness from malts and a bit of wheat. The sweetness quickly fades leaving lemon tartness, orange peel tartness and tangelo tart hard candy tartness. Tart but refreshing. It then smooths out with faint bubble gum, some hay, spice, a bit of sweetness and receding levels of tartness into the finish.
