Coopers XPA is all about ‘extra’ hop flavour whilst being well balanced and easy to drink. With Simcoe and Lemondrop American hops added at different stages of the brewing process we have achieved an optimal bitterness level with bright citrus undertones. Like all of our Ales, XPA is naturally conditioned and free from any additives or preservatives.

Can from Yamaya. Medium gold, hazy, with floaters. High head. Citrus hops, creamy malt, orange, grapefruit, lemon. Seems like some wheat? Nice creamy malt flavor, estery fruits, citrus. A bit more body than the Pacific, though the hops were a bit more interesting in that one. Overall, I like this better, more malt, meatier.

37,5cl can from Sip, Tallinn. Pours slightly hazy golden with a white head. Malty and quite hoppy with herbal notes, caramel and hint of citrus. Medium sweet with medium flavour intensity and ditto bitterness.

330ml can at the Beer Bank, Kuala Lumpur. Poured a slightly hazy golden yellow colour with a lasting frothy white head. The aroma is malt, light toffee. The flavour is moderate bitter, light sweet, with a crisp, malt, light caramel, light citrus, woody hop bitter palate and a lingering bitter finish. Medium bodied with average carbonation.

21/8/2022. Can at Lion Hotel, Sofia, bought at 1001 Beers. Pours golden with a small white head. Aroma is fruity, sweet malt, citrus, flowers. Medium sweetness, moderate bitterness. Moderate body, average carbonation.
