Coopers XPA is all about ‘extra’ hop flavour whilst being well balanced and easy to drink. With Simcoe and Lemondrop American hops added at different stages of the brewing process we have achieved an optimal bitterness level with bright citrus undertones. Like all of our Ales, XPA is naturally conditioned and free from any additives or preservatives.

ITS HOT, THIS IS COLD. (sorry for caps) Smell-weak malt. Foam- thin, weak hops, weak bitter tones, faint malt and sweetness. Head is large, white with an orange tint. Appearance- simple can. Cloudy orange amber, weka carbonation. From - pint Price - 1.99 euros for 375 ml Taste- malt, hops, weak bitter tones. Simple, refreshing.

Hazy blond colour with thin head. Aroma and flavour have some fruity sweet esters coming from the yeast. Malt sweetness. Touch of caramel. Slightly syrupy, fruity notes. Moderately bitter.

Can picked up from the Bier Paradise, Maasen, Utrecht, Maastricht, there seemed to be a big promotional push on their beers as they had their own stand and promotional material. Consumed Wednesday 20th October 2021. Listening to Royal Blood - Typhoons. We had Salmon and Cream Cheese Stuffed Pasta after I sliced a little bit off the top of my thumb cutting onions 😳. Pours warm gold/light amber with a very light haze and a large white head. I have to say that I found this really devoid of flavour, there was very little here at all. The bitterness was light to lower middling, a light fruitiness, but really thin and lacking across the board.

Straight from can. Aroma and taste: honey, biscuit, floral hop. Light to medium sweet and bitter. Mouth feel: medium minus body, average carbonation. Overall: drinkable.

375ml can from Bliznetsy in Moscow. Pours clear gold with a tall white head. Aroma is yeast, citrus, floral hops and malt. Taste is the same, plus medium bitterness.

From a 375ml can on 13/10/2019, Pours a cloudy deep golden with a small head. Has a bit of the Cooper's yeast and some light fruit zest on the nose.Tastes quite zesty with some light tropical and citrus notes in the background, particularly lemon (I assume this is the lemondrop hops). The bitterness is moderate but sharpish. Medium bodied with average carbonation. This is actually a solid little beer, and sits nicely in between the green and the red. A nice addition to the Coopers range.

Schooner on tap at Great Central Hotel, Glen Innes. Hazy golden amber beer with a thin white head. High fine carbonation. Nose has faint hints of resin and fruit but is mostly malt. Good lacing. Refreshing with a nice bitter finish. Some herbal minty goodness late on. Quality.

Can. Gold with a slight haze (I left most of the sediment in the can) and a fading white head. Gentle, welcoming aroma of citrus blossoms, kumquat, light bread, pine needles. Light bodied. Too fizzy - perhaps I should have used a bigger glass. Cleaner than most Coopers beers with a light spicy and earthy bread below bright citrus notes and a little pine. A decent whack of bitterness at the end.
