Ну что сказать, вроде реально хорошо сваренный в стилистике квадрик от Брюдога, были и лучше конечно, они вроде это умеют, но на этот сами, без калабы. Хорошие нотки сухофруктов, есть слива и курага, изюм. Немного благородного алкоголя на финише.

A: hazy dark brown, thin, beige head.
A: milk chocolate, molasses, date, roasted almond, liqueur.
T: sweet date, fig, chocolate, fudge, bitter nuts.
F: herbal hops, dried fruit, nuts, wood, bit resinous, warming liqueur-like alcohol.
P: full body, oily texture, soft carbonation.
Heavy stuff, sweet but sufficiently balancing in the end.

On tap at Brewdog Soho, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma brings out lots of dark roasted malt, burnt caramel, and a touch of burnt sugars. Flavour is full of burnt sugars, toasted caramel, and deep roasted malt. This has aged well, giving off the burnt sugars and roast. Very good.

Backlog April 2018. Dark amber,almost black body under a nice, dense beige head. Aroma of dark malt, coffee and chocolate. Taste is a bit rough with dark malt, chocolate, coffee and booze. Bittersweet. Fine body and same rustic, sweet and alcoholic aftertaste. Prefer my barleywine a bit more smooth and elegant.

330ml bottle, at Brewdog Birmingham. Pours opaque dark brown toward black with a foamy tan head. Aroma: roasted malts, molasses, oak, herbal. Taste: moderate to heavy sweet, dark berries, liquorice, treacle. Medium+ body with foamy carbonation. It's lasted well. Tasty.

Huge thanks to Erzengel for sharing! Bottle looks good. Beer in the glass dark brown, almost black. Small head. Roasty malty aroma. Starts fine malty, roasty, light alcoholic. Some herbal notes as well. Hoppy background with mild bitterness. Finish well balanced. Nice one!

0,33 l bottle. Nearly black in the glass, one finger foamy beige head. Filzstift smell, dark fruity with hop. Taste starts with a hop bitterness, dark fruity, roasted malt, less alcoholic than expected. Increasing alcoholic bitterness in the second part, sweet sticky elements. Pine and licorice. Very intensive stuff. Big thank you to Erzengel for this gem.

Bottle. Very dark with an initial brown off-white head, which disappears. Its strength dominates in both aroma and taste, but there’s enough dark malt character and a few hops available, although always only underlying. There’s a light sweetness to things too.

Sampled from the tap at Brew Dog Barcelona. Pours near black with a grayish brown head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has dark grains and toffee with caramel and bread underlying. Flavor has boozy toffee and dark grains with strong caramel and vanilla backing.
