We still brew this unique beer in the old-fashioned, original way, using genuine Gose yeast, coriander and salt. Ritterguts Gose's refreshing characteristics are developed through a secondary lactic fermentation, which produces a round and harmonious acidity. Its rare, classic open fermentation and long, cold maturation make it exceptionally well-balanced, the way a real Gose was meant to be. Enjoy a taste of the finest Leipzig tradition!

Bottle. Cloudy, golden brown with a two finger head. Aroma is kind of fruity. Taste is coriander and sour salt.

Bottle at Beerselection. Deep clear pour, white head. Nose is low citric and lacto sourness, beautiful mineral-salty notes,. Taste is moderately sour, citric and lacto again, mineral notes, a faint malty touch. Light body, easy to drink, super refreshing. Lovely.

Gold pour, with a small white head. Nice wheat Aroma, savoury, some salt and hints if herbs. Thin mouth feel, lovely soft carb. The finish is tart, but pleasant, not overpowering at all, nice saltiness, lots of lemon notes and soft herbs. Solid!

Bottle at home. Aroma is fruity and a bit spicy with lots of lemon and salty notes. Salty and medium sour flavour with a nicely dry finish. Body is light to medium. Crisp, refreshing and very drinkable classic Gose.

0.5 l bottle from BrewDog Berlin Mitte. Shared with Schieder and Fates11 on the S-Bahn from the bottle. Light acidic, lemony flavour. Soft herbal touch. Lightly salty. Refreshing, light body, lightly sour finish.

Optisch Pfirsichlikör, in der Nase merkt man schon die Säure. Im Trunk schön sauer, dabei recht angenehm, leicht tartig, dezent Salz, leichte Frucht, schön ausgewogene Komposition. Zurecht ein Klassiker.
