Inspired by the fresh, sessionable beers on the Belgian dinner table, we’re bringing back a 2015 favorite. This hoppy Belgian-style pale ale is bright and flavorful with an assertive hop character. Jardinier is French for gardener, and this beer is a veritable garden of flavor— perfect for any occasion, casual or ornate.

Bottled. Cloudy pale gazed yellow with white head. Hops floral and a yeasty funk. Ok but not as great as some of the other bruery lineup

Cloudy yellow pour, with a medium white head. Aroma is hoppy, some pine resin, lots of random herbs, and some fresh cut grass. Lively mouthfeel, lively carb. Fresh, refreshing, dry finish, with its some crisp hops ad herbs, with hints of yeast and tropical fruit. Greta stuff.

Bottle, thanks Mark. Aroma is good but indistinct. Taste is dry, some bitterness, bit grainy, some saison like element. Lacks a spark for me.

Bottle. I liked this a lot. Hay and grass initially. Yeast in the aroma, flowers, some honey. Dry and moderately hopped, I thought it was more a saison than a Belgian ale. Finish with wild prairie plants. Heavy carbonation and a tall white head.

Very hazy golden coloured body with an orange glow and a rich, thick, seven centimetre tall pure tan head. Aroma of grass, yeast, bread, light alcohol, citrus, grain and a bit of floral hops - quite fragrant. Light-bodied; Strong grassy and herbal flavours throughout with a very mild sweetness, some subdued floral and coriander seed freshness and a bit of the grain and malt notes - not too strong though. Aftertaste shows some yeast and breadiness with a dry, hay and grassy finish showing not much complexity and just an assertive effervescence coupled with some herbal and floral flaovurs. Overall, a decent beer, but nothing special, and like the label evidently says - perfect for the dinner table (which is subsequently what did with this one, not knowing about their ’recommendation’) and that’s about it. Not worth searching out nor keeping on hand for any changes in the bottle. I sampled this 75 cL bottle purchased from New Beer Distributors in New York, New York on 03-December-2016 for US$9,25 sampled at home in Washington on 31-January-2017.

Serve from bottle. Aroma is Belgian yeast, little stale hoppiness and some yoghurt notes. Flavour is lemon, bread, lots of spice from the yeast. Essentially a hoppy saison. Quite nice.
