Hazy deep amber beer, good cream colour head. Palate is smooth with good fine carbonation. Smooth malts, nice level of sweetness. Mild cream and caramel. Really nice sherbetty orange hops followed by mild marmalade, tangerine, smooth pine and a little resin. Trace of tropical fruits. Light finish. Hop spice linger. Really nicely balanced and great depth of flavour.

Keg at CBC CG. It pours clear golden with a decent white head. The nose is soft & fruity, quite a lot of lychee upfront, melon, pineapple, white peach, oiliness and some pina colada. The taste is crisp, bitter, juicy tropical fruits, melon, lychee, peach, light alcohol heat and pale bread with a dry, fruity finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Rather quaffable fruity IPA.

Bottle at home in London - picked up at Mother Kelly’s. Pours lightly hazy, deep gold with a dense, frothy off-white head. Richly resinous on the nose, lots of pine, herbs, ripe tropical fruits, orange. Medium sweet flavor with fairly bready, lightly toasted pale malts, oily pine, low bitterness, ripe orange, papaya, melon. Medium to full bodied with average carbonation. Warming and resinous on the finish with more lightly toasted pale malts, gooey ripe citrus, orange, ripe tropical fruits, oily pine, melon, papaya, mango, just a hint of toffee. It’s a rich IPA. Could probably just a touch drier, which would really lift it. Still, overall it’s very good stuff.

Bottle. Trembling Madness Drinks Shop, York. Very hazy, orangey gold. Skim of clingy, white head. Nose is perfumed, floral and herbal. Not to the tune of being overpowering, but it’s certainly distinct. I like it. Touch of spice. Minty hop. Taste is chewy sweet, turning, grassy, floral bitter. Lovely mouthfeel. Soft, and chewy. Nice richness. Finishes with a moderate, herby bitterness. Novel, yet easy drinking.

330ml bottle. Murky, orangey, deep golden to amber colour with average to huge, frothy, fairly lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Intense, citrusy, tropical fruity aroma, notes of orange, mandarine, passion fruit, caramel malty background, a spicy note at the transition from green onion to liquorice, a cautious touch of mint. Taste is bitter hoppy, caramel malty basis with a touch of hazelnut and peanut, fruity hoppy overtones, hints of orange, orange zest, a tannic touch. Unbalanced, inharmonious.
