(Can) Pours clear amber brown with small white head. Pleasant but subtle aroma of toffee with hints of coconut. Light body with good plentiful soft carbonation. Tastes good. Dominated by a dark toffee malt with a hint of burnt sugar. There’s some notes of raisins. Not sure about ANZAC biscuit, but it’s very drinkable.

From a 330ml can on 29/4/2019. Pours a clear golden with a biggish foamy head. Has a very mild, slightly sweet malty, grassy aroma. The taste begins sweet, with lots of Anzac biscuit, a touch of the promised coconut, and some hints of toffee. There's a modest bitterness at the back, providing just enough to stop it from being a touch cloying. Full bodied with moderate carbonation. An okay novelty.

The diplomatic woman at the Otter's Promise _didn't_ say this isn't sweet garbage like most other beers with random crap in them, but that was the implication. Can. Clear amber with a white head that fades from a inch to a cm. Aroma is not obviously ANZACy with toffee, biscuit, weeds, spices. But a swig does show golden syrup, raisins and coconut. But they're not hugely prominent and the beer finishes reasonably dry with moderate bitterness and just a hint of darkish sugar. Malty but not flabby with a neat finish. Pretty good. --- Beer merged from original tick of The Larrikin on 25 Apr 2019 at 12:36 - Score: Appearance - 6 | Aroma - 6 | Flavor - 7 | Texture - 6 | Overall - 7.
