Can from the lcbo. Pale yellow pour with a large, Rocky, white head.. Aroma is straw, grass, light zest. Crisp mouth feel, solid carb.. Low bitterness, light vegetal notes, light fruit, mostly straw and grasses, with pale cereals. Meh.

Lemon, barley malt, and grass aroma. Slightly hazy pale giant white head. Mildly sweet citrus, biscuit malt, and moderately bitter grass/fresh hay flavor. Okay body. Very good for a low cal beer.

Da Shootz! American Pilsner 4% 25 IBU 99 calories Pale straw gold with a fizzy white head and mild floral hop perfume. Light bodied with Sodabread malt flavors and very mild flavor overall which made me feel they focused more on making this beer low calorie than full flavored. Once you keep drinking it opens up and gives you more. Overall ok.

12 oz. can from Binny's, packaged 6-23-20. Bright straw color with a bit of haze to it. Sudsy by thick head. Continuous stream of bubbles feeds from the bottom of the glass. Yes, I know I can only describe it as a beer smell: Light bready malt, just a hint of hop. Taste turns out to be kind of thin and watery. I know they're shooting for a low-cal beer, but I've had similar beers with a more prominent taste profile. It's all right, but little different than a macro light. A place like Deschutes should be able to do better.

Big 568ml can that pours a clean golden colour with a big fizzy cap that dissipates quickly not leaving much. Malty sweetness with some kind of fake hops, just not as bad as most macros. The taste is better with more true micros pils flavours. Not too sweet, raisin hints with a touch of grassy hops giving some mild dryness. Not bad for a light beer, but not one of the new style hoppy 4% that has bite.

Can. Light golden/yellow body. Large, frothy white head, rapidly diminishing. Aroma of toasted grain, lemon. Moderately sweet to start with an unwelcome tartness in the finish. Thin/watery body, lively carbonation. Appreciate the 99 calories and 4% ABV, but leaves me saying meh.

12oz can. At first I sort of avoided this one, thinking it was a light beer. after reading the Q+A on BA with the owner, my interest was piqued. Slightly hazy yellow body. Foamy white head. Dry, bready, but perhaps a little too thin and light for its own good. There is something a little off about it, lacking in malt depth or perhaps the fact that is was canned 6 months ago. I suppose it still is a light beer of sorts, but it comes close enough to a respectable enough Pils at times to be enjoyable, but not something I would buy again.

19.2 oz. can, pours a clear piss yellow with a small white head. Nose is adjunct-laden, with lots of corn, cabbage and skunky notes. Flavour isn't much better, with skunk cabbage and pissy corn. This is nigh-indistinguishable from industrial piss.

Very crystal  clear golden coloured body that almost looks like water, with a thin, single centimetre tall pure white head that fades fairly quickly. Aroma of grass, flowers, stale malt, fake sugar and just about nothing else. Light-bodied; Weak notes of grass, flowers, fake sugars, straw, hay and stale malt, very sad and watery throughout. Aftertaste is almost as bland as the profile, with some hay and grass noticeable, but that is really it, as the whole flavour at the end is incredibly watery, basic and not pleasant with stale malt being the strongest flavour that is picked up. Overall, a pretty poor beer overall, from the pour to the flavour and of course the finish, as this one is either underwhelming, watery, or just plain bad in every aspect. Obviously a passable beer in every category. I'm not sure how this is rated so highly for the style, it is pretty bad in every which-way. I sampled this twelve ounce can purchased from Harris Teeter in Arlington (Pentagon Row), Virginia on 30-May-2019 for US$1,87 sampled at home in Washington on 21-February-2020.
