The nose shows intense notes of blueberries, pancake batter, and light walnuts.

The palate is full bodied. Baked blueberries forward and pancake batter in the background with notes of cinnamon.

Bottle split at the Soapy returns tasting, Mother Arch ii, thanks to Nathan, 27/04/23. Deep blackcurrant red approaching purple/black. Nose is deep berry fruits, blueberry compote, sugars, booze, honey drizzle. Taste comprises blueberry jam, sugars, honey, blackcurrant, maple syrup, light spice. Full bodied, slick and oily mouthfeel, semi drying close with a balanced rising boost. Solid mead ... well balanced, carries the berry flavour well and doesn't become overly sweet.

Bottle at The Kernel Taproom share, cheers! It pours deep winey red - purple with minimal head. The taste is sweet, sticky, intoxicating, tangy, sugary, D & B, date, prune, honey, maple syrup, blueberry muffin, vanilla, jammy and candy. The taste is slick, sticky, quite tangy, sugary, honey, bramble, jammy, tangy, filthy, boozy warmth, warming, tannin, Dr Pepper, punchy alcohol warmth fudge, blueberry muffin and general filthiness. Fulsome body and fine carbonation and slick mouth feel. Heavy duty and sweet, but fun to sip in small doses.
