To celebrate 20 years as a company Nils Oscar took their best seller and decided to skip the filtering to offer their loyal customers a taste of God Lager like it is straight from the tanks. This Dortmunder lager has slightly more malt and hop character than its filtered counterpart. Simply put, a lager with heavier mouthfeel and a smooth finish.

Bottled, from Systembolaget. Cloudy golden, rocky head. Distinct floral spicy nose. Mid dry with solid body and rounded mouthfeel. Bready, spicy and grassy. Really bitter finish. Pretty good, but much of the focus is on bitter hops, rather than malt softness.

Draught @ Lådan. A well made helles, drinkable and true to style. Heavy on the malts. A bit rough. Notes of marzipan, apricots, knäckebröd, minerals and herbs.

Bottled. Golden colour, small white head. Aroma is grassy, herbal and some earthy notes. Flavour is grassy, herbal, yeasty and some bready maltiness to it. Quite ok.

50cl bottle, thanks oh6gdx. The beer pours golden color with a thin white head. Dusty earthy, malty aroma. Some apple notes, grains, malt and sweetness. Long sweet finish.

Bottle bought @ Systembolaget. Hazy golden pour with a small frothy white head. Very pleasant soft mellow malt nose with fresh bread, toasted cereal & clear floral hops. Tiny sweet, slightly bitter, malty & floral taste. Soft, round & tiny astringent mouthfeel. Soft fresh bread & honey floral finish. Very nice almost franconian styled lager. Bottle from Systembolaget Viksjö. Hazy golden with a medium white head. Aroma of bread, flowers and some grass. Similar taste, also some light honey. The mouthfeel was around medium and the bitterness quite soft. An easy to drink one.

Flaska från SB. Gyllengul, rejält disig med medelhöft vitt skum. Doft av ljust bröd, sommarblommor, mandel, jäst, honung. Mjuk fin munkänsla, runda harmoniska smaker som doften med djup och fina nyanser. Lätt beska. Riktigt trevlig.
