750ml bottle pours out red topped with a fizzy head. Nose is great berries grapes oak tart funky. Taste is more of the nice grapes layers of funk and tart, I think the years in the bottle has done this one some good.

Tasting at Eugene’s
Hazy red color with small head. Mildly sour, a lot of carbonation, berry flavor, kind of dry, a bit vinous/and astringent.
Nice.

2015 bottle marked "Imperial Vin Bu" but Tempranillo variety is specified in deScription. Aroma is nice with a very fruity character to it. Some light oak notes with a musty grape character. Medium acidity with hints of citrus and wheat. Grapes have a bit of a berry like character to go with the musty note. Pours a fairly dark purple color with some reddish hues on the edges and a medium sized, medium thick, frothy, pink head that recedes to a thin film that is replaced by more bubbles rising to the surface. Flavor is moderately acidic, definitely less than in some of the Bu series. Lots of grape character, though with a bit less must than in the aroma. Light oak and grain notes with hints of citrus. Light berry notes. I really like the flavor of this grape. A touch of sweetness. Mouthfeel is medium light bodied with medium high to high carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, this is one of my favorite Bu’s to date. Its not too acidic, the fruit is bright and complex and the base beer shines through just a bit.

Bottle poured. Pours a bright purple color with a fading pink foam head. Sour mixed berry aroma, specifically raspberry and red grape. Matching flavor throughout. Oaky, red winish in a way. Wonderfully tart and nice drinking beer here. This style of beer, I’m very much for it.

750mL bottle, pours a deep dark pinkish red with a small pinkish off-white head. Aroma is quite grape-heavy, with lots of red grapes skins. Flavour is not very complex, with tart red grapes. Really not a whole lot going on here. Tart and grape-heavy. Pretty uninspiring.
