Bottle courtesy of hackobock. Pours black with a small mocha head that doesn’t leave much trace on the glass while dissiapting. Smell is malty and tiny fruity with roasted malts, burnt caramel, vanilla fudge, charred wood, dark roast coffee, dark chocolate, caramelized apples, raisins, moist soil and calvados alcohol. Taste is sweet, bitter, tiny sour, malty and fruity. mouthfeel is soft, round, astringent, tiny tart, tiny boozy and medium to full bodied. Fin ish is sweet, bitter and tiny sour with roasted malts, burnt caramel, vanilla fudge, charred wood, dark roast coffee, dark chocolate, tart apples, moist soil, soot, charcoal and calvados alcohol. Bit heavy on the charcoal acidity but still quite solid.
