The Golden Tricky is made in honour of a witty priest from East-Flanders. The only hop that is used in this brew is the Australian Ella. Don’t be fooled by her exotic aroma that creates the expectation of a sweet beer. You will soon notice the bitter aftertaste that makes this beer whole. Do the test and let a boomerang of tastes slide through your throat, all the way down-under.

Bottle at Nuetnigenough. Golden with a white head. Aroma of hops, yeast, some hay and malt. The same in the taste. The finish was medium bitter.

Flesje thuis gedronken. Licht oranje, ietsje troebel bier. Aroma van gist en hop. Smaak is bitter met een vleugje fruit. Nasmaak is licht bitter.

Keg at BD Brussels. It pours hazy yellow - gold with a thick, foamy white head. The aroma is fresh, floury white bread, grassy, hay, floral and sticky orange marmalade The taste is crisp, dry, bitter, white bread, fresh grassy vibes, straw, floral, pepper, pithy citrus, creamy malts and a kick of alcohol with a dry finish. Medium body and moderate, foamy carbonation. Decent hippy Belgian ale. Solid.

Oranjegeel bier met schuim. Smaak is krachtig, licht bitter en licht zoet met iets van honing, ananas en citrus.

Fles gekocht in Edam, thuis geprobeerd met LiekevdV. Het is een goudgeel bier met een volle schuimkraag. Het heeft een moutige wat zoete smaak.

330ml bottle from Vanuxeem. Pours hazy golden yellow, medium white head. Light floral spicy sweetness in the aroma. Taste presents a light citric hop sweetness, soft yeast, semi-sweet malts, hints of orange fruit. Not a great IPA.

Flaska från Belgoklubben. Smak och doft av citrus, jäst, passionsfrukt, ananas och örter. Rund och len, frisk och fruktig, fina aromer, beska med smak av citrusskal. Gott!

On tap at Vrteška 2017, shared with Višnja 666! Hazy straw to yellow. Off-white head. Light floral, chamomile. Light hoppy bitterness. Dry. Light body, soft carbonation, moderate lasting finish.

On tap at Vrteška. Hazy yellow-golden body, white head. Creamy perfumey peachy aroma. Herbal perfumey taste, peachy, medium bitterness, light phenolics, fruity in general. Okay, not bad at all for an experimental IPA.
