Draught @ Ölrepubliken. Pours clear deep Amber with a frothy goldenish offwhite head that slowly dissipates while leaving some sparse spotty trace on the glass. Smell is malty and slightly nutty with caramel, dark bread, butterscotch hard candy, hay, hazelnut paste and orange peal. Taste is sweet, slightly bitter, malty and earthy with caramel, buttered bread, butterscotch hard candy, black tea, hay, moist soil, tobacco, grapefruit rinds and lemon zest. Mouthfeel is soft, slightly flat, round, tiny astringent and light to medium bodied. Finish is tiny sweet and slightly bitter with caramel, biscuits, butterscotch, hay, black currant tea, moist soil and orange peal. Extremely buttery without turning rancid butter. Goes down without leaving a mark...
