(Draught at Stockholm Beer & Whisky Festival, 9 Sep 2023) Amber colour with creamy, tan head. Fruity, floral nose with notes of caramel, orange peel and herbs. Fruity, spicy taste with caramel, orange peel, black-currant, herbs and a gentle floral bitterness in the finish. More than medium body, with a certain sweetness. On the sweet and malty side for a saison, but quite tasty and fairly complex. Nice one.

Bottle 33 cl. Super gusher - and it just keeps coming. Fucking hate that! Almost clear amber with a uge yet dissipating off-white head leaving some lacework. Spicy, yeasty nose with some overripe fruit. Medium body, sweet, fruity, nutty and yeasty - some balsamico and phenols. Some fustiness. Gets more and more unclean as it warms. Next to no carbonation. Plenty of bittering hops in the finish with some alcohol warmth. 170123

Draft. A hazy amber beer with a beige head. The aroma has notes of lemons and flowers. The flavor is sweet with notes of lemons, straw, flowers, and hay, leading to a dry finish. A summer drink

Bottle. The heavy maltiness and intriguing cloying doughy yeastiness would have made me think of this beer as a tripel rather than a saison in a blindtasting. Not the most drinkable saison, but an OK one.

Bottled, from Systembolaget. Cloudy pale amber, rocky head. Fruity nose with minerals and spicy hops. Mid dry with medium body and well rounded mouthfeel. Lightly fruity malt, plenty of spicy hops, distinct minerals and mid bitter finish. Nicely attentuated with good drinkability.

Bottle bought throughSystembolaget. Pours hazy golden with a frothy white head that slowly dissipates while leaving some trace on the glass. Smell is spicy and earthy with crackers, biscuits, moist grass, soil, white pepper corns, dry wood and lemon zest. Taste is bitter, spicy and phenolic with white bread, moist grass, dry soil, hay, orange zest, lemon zest, grape skins, unripe pears, pepper corns and hints of sheet metal and band aids. Mouthfeel is dry, slight astringent and light to medium bodied. Finish is bitter and phenolic with white bread, moist grass, dry soil, wood, grape skins, grapefruit rinds and hints of apple skins, band aids and pear skins. Just the right balance between noble hop dew covered grass and phenols. Quite good...
