(Draft at La Source Taproom, Brussels, 20 Sep 2025) Black colour with frothy, beige head. Malty, roasted nose with dark chocolate, coffee, liquorice and nuts. Malty, roasted taste with notes of dark chocolate, black coffee, liquorice, roasted nuts and a balanced roasty bitterness. Medium body, with a touch of sweetness. Solid and well made porter. Very nice.

Can at home, sourced from the brewpub. Deep brown, almost black pour with a thin, off-white head. Nose is chocolate, very light roast, cacao, some berries/dried fruits. Taste is dialed in nicely, it’s a spot-on porter taste, chocolatey, biscuty, malty, the water profile is also amazing. The body is the bottleneck, so to say, it’s a touch too light, even for the style. But even with this it’s a great beer all around.

Tap at the source. A nutty brown coloured charred wood, brown sugars, cinnamon, earthy roast. Flavour is composed of medium sweet, nutty charred malts, brown bread, rustic dark roast. Palate is medium sweet, moderate carbonation.. Good authentic Porter.
