(bottle) Almost cloudy, amber colour with a short and tanned foamy head. Slightly toasted malty and slightly bready aroma with present notes of caramel, accompanied by a subtle fruity touch. Moderately bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a modest carbonation. Bready and toasty malt-character with loads of caramel and a tinge of liquorice; moderately bitter and slightly sweet finish with toasty malt and caramel in the aftertaste. Nice but not world-shaking, nor particularly complex. 07.I.14

Bottle: Murky brown, floaties visible, almost no head, only an off-white foamy layer. Shy dryish herbal-hoppy nose with a delicate toasty-bready background; nearly moderate dryish bitter-sweet flavour, quite soft, but also quite light bodied; bitter-fruity finish with the usual toasty-bready-malty traces. Not too demanding…

Bottle from trade with oh6gdx, many thanks.Hoppy aroma with some fruitiness, caramel. Hoppy taste with caramel, and some fruits. Hoppy bitter finish. Good.

Bottle. Fresh beer with notes of orange, burned toffee that enda with a crisp, pilslike bitterness. Quite good.

Flaska från Systembolaget. Mörkt bärnstensfärgad vätska med benvitt skum. Doft av kola och karamell. Blommor i bakgrunden. Knäckig smak med maltsötma som balanseras av neutral beska. Lång torr avslutning.

500ml bottle picked up in Kiruna, from Systembolaget e-beställning. Good looking with a close to clear golden-amber body. Off-white, one-finger, head. Smell of dark fruits and caramel malts. Plums successfully mixed with semi-sweet malts leading to a dry, dark bitter ending. Tasty, well-balanced ESB (at Finns with the distant sounds from Turbonegers live concert at Døgnvill, Tromsø 23.08.2012).

Flaske 0,5l fra Systembolaget, e-beställning. Drukket under Døgnvillrating med Rune 23 Aug 12. Brun. Høyt, litt farget skum som varer. God karamellaroma med innslag av tørket frukt. Smaken er tørr frukt. Svisker, nøtter og plommer. Syrlig, litt bitter ettersmak. Et godt øl! Litt uklar i siste kvelling.

(Draught at Pikkulintu, 20120612) The beer poured deep copper coloured and clear. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had malts, toffee and sweetness. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were toffee, grass, sweetness, malts and bitterness. Aftertaste was malty, mildly sweet and bitter. Clean and tasty but the bitterness was a bit too intense for this kind of beer.
