Bottle thanks to Randy. Pours a nice reddish amber with creamy white head. Nose is cranberries and cough medicine. Taste is wonderful cranberries, cream and a gingerbread finish. Great tasting beer. A 4.0+ beer if not for the nose.

Bottle: Pours a bright, yet dark golden pour with a large, frothy white head. Aroma is sweet and fruity. Initially smells a little like apple juice before the tartness of the cranberries comes forward. The cranberry presence in the taste is sublime. Very nice balance of sweet to tart. Not really tasting the oak, but I can sense it’s presence. Light bits of vanilla. Finished dry. Quite nice.

Bottle from Matt (madvike). Translucent pinkish-orange body, thin off-white head. Tart nose with cranberry, sugar, vinaigrette, and sour funk. The body reminds me a lot of the Raspberry Tart and Belgian Red, tart yet not quite puckering, mildly sweet with a firm, biting grassy bitterness in the finish and the tannic, fleeting nature of delicious ripe cranberries. Dry oaky notes complement the fruit and funk. Very good; this would have been suited for the larger bottle treatment its cherry and raspberry East Egg cousins receive.

12 ounce bottle courtesy of madvike who was kind enough to send me four of these. Thanks Matt! Once of the most anticipated NG beers for me in a long, long time. Pours a clear pale red color with a thin white head. Fair head retention and lacing. Aroma of cranberries and cherries with notes of coconut and wood. Tart and sweet at the same time. Taste is cherries, cranberries, faint funky notes, oak, vanilla. A faint bit of sugary vinegar if that makes any sense. The funk here is there but its very mild. Good entry level lambic. Insanely drinkable. Good beer.

Bottle: Poured a light reddish color ale with a large foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of tart notes with light sweet cranberry and acidic undertones is very enticing. Taste is a complex mix between some lightly sweet cranberry with some tart notes with a well balanced finish that includes green apple-like acidity and some light funky ester. Even though this beer present great complexity it is still very easily drinkable and very refreshing which I rated very highly. Body is about average with great carbonation. An excellent beer from a brewer that consistently amaze me.

Sampled at the January 09 Metro Detroit tasting. Thanks to whoever brought this! Poured a clear light red with an orange tint. The head was off-white. Aroma had a bit of cranberry and a lot of tartness. Flavor started sweet with a bit of cranberry, the cranberry became more tart throughout for a nice finish.
