The name and also the label were created by artist Rik Vermeersch, Luc’s nephew. The ‘irresistible’ spicy lady refers to a light blond/amber coloured beer of 6.5 volume with a nice white foam. The nose is malty with fruity hints that change after a while into slightly bitter. EBC 13.

GUSHER. 330 ml. bottle. Purchased @ Bierhalle Deconinck. BBF 25/03/2015. Murky dark peach amber, solid smaller off-white head. Smell is oxidized stale, cereal, honey, hamburger bun, odd,… Taste is bitter, herbal, cereal, honey, oxidized, metallic, supermarket vegan meatballs, chestnut, more old crystallized honey,… Bitter herbal, Chinese spices finish. Thicker regular sweetish BE body. Odd but somewhat satisfactory brew that feels Belgian not necessary in the best of ways. I’m liking it, an interesting experience. The more I drink it, the more I like, very interesting. Great work really.

Leite’s first, with a label designed by an artist. Creamy, firm, off-white head, peach blonde colour with orange hue, not really amber contrary to what the label says. Soft fruity aroma, apricot, pear, some orange, grains, slight sourish touch, caramel; fruity taste, soft and mellow maltiness, spicy notes, bit yeasty, mild herbal hops in the finish with light bitterness.

Pours hazy orange with a small, white head. The aroma contains fruits, malt, caramel and spices. It tastes medium fruity sweet and light spicy bitter. Medium body, sticky texture, soft carbonation. A bit off-balance and boring after a while. (Edited 5/6/17)
