Sample at Kurtkeller 026: Summer-tastic 01 on 06/25/2017. Hazy golden color with a medium white head that recedes steadily to a wispy film. Short strings of lacing. Aroma of citrus, hops and malt. Medium body with flavors of herbal hops, grapefruit and biscuit malt. The finish is moderately bitter with a citrusy hop aftertaste. Decent overall.

355 ml bottle. Pours with a hazy amber color and a nice white head. Aroma of citrus fruits and some herbal-sweet. Pine-needles and herbal hops. Taste is more malty and grainy as expected. Only slightly fruity. Resins .Long and bitter finish.

Schwer hopfiger Beginn mit malzlastigem Charakter. Dabei wenig süß, dunkel getreidig, trocken. Mild bitter, die Hopfigkeit rückt zunehmend in den Hintergrund. Dennoch süffig, vollmundig, wenn auch eben anders als gedacht. Mittellanger, leicht klebriger Nachhall. 9/9/10/9/7/9

Bottle at Jester King Funk n Sour. Pours a cloudy orange gold with medium frothy white head that lasts. The aroma is citrus, dank, earth hop. Medium body, grapefruit pith, pine, dank, bitter finish, very good.

Bottle at home. Hazy orange with a medium height off-white head. The aroma is dominated by malt sugars and feint citrus hops. The taste follows the same notes, not quite as sweet as the nose suggested, but still very malt-forward for an IPA, with notes of honey, brown sugar, citrus hops, herbal hops and some medicinal bitterness. Sample at SBWF 2016. A bit hazy golden with a white head. Aroma of grapefruit, some passion fruit, grass and light malt. Similar taste. The body was around medium and the finish was quite bitter.

Draft @ CBC 2015. Pours a hazy golden orange color with a small white head. Has a fruity malty grassy grapefruit hoppy aroma. Fruity malty grapefruit hoppy bitter flavor. Has a fruity malty grapefruit hoppy bitter finish.

Golden colour, white head. Malty aroma, lots of soap, hops, onion, citrus and grapefruit. Bitter flavour, malts, hops, caramel and tropical fruits. Bitter finish, lemon peel, the bitter white stuff just below the lemon skin.
