Draught @ CBC 2015. Pours very hazy golden with a creamy frothy white head that leaves some thick lacing on the glass while dissipating. Smell is fruity and grassy with cracker, grapefruit juice, mango, pineapple, freshly cut grass, pine needles, minerals and lemon zest. Taste is bitter, fruity and grassy. Mouthfeel is dry, slightly astringent and light to medium bodied. Finish is bitter with crackers, grapefruit juice, mango, pineapple, lychee, freshly cut grass, pine needles minerals and lemon zest. Tasty fruity fresh IPA!

Pours cloudy gold into a shaker. Bright white head with excellent retention recedes leaving soapy lacing. Lemon pith aromas. Dry with sourdough and caramel upfront turning to lemon and resin in the lasting finish.

12 oz bottle poured and purchased at malt and vine. Pours a thick, cloudy gold color with plenty of foam head. Fruity hop up front aroma. Flavor matches work a bit of a piney background and late palate. Thick body, earthy hops. Nice bitter. Overall a good IPA.

Bottle, undated, from Downtown Wine and Spirits, drunk 8/30/15.
Nice big fluffy white head atop a clear, golden blonde body. Good retention.
At first whiff, it’s citrus and dry pine, with a touch of fruitiness and definite bready/biscuity malts in tail. It opens up considerably with stone fruits and nectarines, but retains its dryness, with the malt not progressing to any more sweetness/fullness. No alcohol no flaw.
Interestingly hoppy in the mouth, with a blend of pine, citrus and a good dose of lighter fruitiness. Yet the malt seems to scratch at the palate, being relieved of any sweetness and the fullness from the extraction mixed with the mostly tight carbonation forming most of the ample body. Some grapefruit pith and light honey head towards the finish, with caramel picking up in character and a strong dose of pine lingering. Despite the rather dry, straightforward hopping and the caramel and biscuit notes from the malt, it still presents a very well-brewed beer, but does fall a bit short on account of the overall dryness/dullness of the flavor notes. With either less medium malt character or less hard grapefruit/pine, I think it would be a much brighter/livelier beer. But nonetheless, still a fine IPA with no alcohol or flaw. Just so difficult to make anything but pale malts work in these bigger, leaner IPAs.

35,5 cl bottle @ hotel room, San Diego. Bottled 04/2015. Aroma has sweet pineapple juice and tropical fruits. Flavour has minerals, some grainy malt, pineapples and hints of resin. Also gluey tones, menthol and grassy hops in the finish. Somewhat refreshing.

Draught@CBC2015. Goldeny orange colour with a small white head. Aroma is sweet fruits, some nectar, mild herbal and grassy notes with mild toffee. Flavour is very similar in a nice and fresh balance. Not overdoing the hopping.
