Aromas and flavors are floral, cloves, blackberry. A little more tart than sweet. It's easy to overdo cloves and they have here a little. Not bad though.

Can from 604. Goblet @home. Dark purple, opaque pour. Faint lavender, lingering head. All I really get is clove on the nose. Maybe some very faint un-sweet blackberry. Tart blackberry jam & heavy clove. It's a great combo. A thin spent honey earthiness & subtle zest at the end seals it. Frothy, juicy, touch of body, nice acid, sulfite headache. Natural Flavors or not. Drinks great.

On tap at B. Nektar, pours a clear dark red, tiny head. Aroma reveals lots of blackberry and wildflower honey, with a healthy amount of clove thrown in there. Flavour is more or less the same, with lots of clove, blackberry, and wildflower honey. Very floral, backed by equal parts clove and berry on the finish. Nice stuff.

Pours clear dark red with no head. Aromas of blackberry, raspberries, honey, some orange peel-like notes, pear cider, apples. Taste is about the same with some more vinous notes.

Red grape color with clean, clear texture. Fresh blackberry and cherry taste. Very,very light clove finish about halfway through the glass. Overall a nice mead.

500 ml bottle. Not a mead fan, but got this in a blind assortment pack, so here goes. Clear purple liquid. Bubbly pink head disapates quickly. Berry fruit nose. Sweet berry flavor hints at orange, though clove seems barely noticeable. Sweet and juicy with light carbonation. Slightly tart finish.

Bottle. Purple color with no head. Aroma is blackberries, spicy, zezty. Taste is spicy, blackberries. Medium carbonation. Very nice.

Bottle. Pours clear dark ruby. Aroma is strong herbs, clove, honey. Body is medium, softly carbonated, berries, fruit, honey, quite sweet but not too strong. Sweetish clove palate. Good balance and pleasant to drink.
