Bottle from a trade. Pours a very faint purple with reddish hues. 1 finger head. faded fast. Nose has a ton of clove and pumkin spice. really earthy with vanilla, graham cracker and sugar.Very light Pinot Noir with a load of clove, nutmeg graham cracker. The likeliness to a nice california red wine is pretty amazing. it’s like drinking a holiday red wine but @ a lower ABV.

Bottle. Pours a clear blackberry like color with no head whatsoever. Aroma has lots of clove with a touch of dry honey and a bit of blackberry underlying. Flavor has more of a slightly tart blackberry and dry honey with strong clove note that slightly overpowers.

Draught at CBC 2014. Clear purple liquid with a medium light pink head. Aroma of tea, smoke, black currant and honey. Taste is light sweet and bitter with notes of light smoke, tea, black currant and honey. Medium bodied with no carbonation. nice.

Keg at CBC Holborn. It pours deep purple with a fizzy light pink head. The nose is rather sweet, juicy dark berry, blackberry and fruit cordial. The taste is juicy, vimto, blackberry/currant, sweet apple, light spice, white sugar honey and citrus peel. Medium body and lively carbonation. Pretty sweet for a whole half, but it is pretty approachable. Decent.

The nose is immediately blackberries, with a strong and unmistakable note of cloves, and a hint of orange peels in the finish. Very sweet, with a low, pleasant savory spiciness. Medium body, crisp, clean, and acidic. This is a wonderfully forward and flavorful flavored mead.

Pours deep purple-tinged burgundy into a snifter. White bubbly head with little retention recedes to faint rim. Clove and orange aromas. Soft with clove front to back. Mild blackberry in the lasting finish.
