Bottle 500ml (WPBF)
Clear amber color, small white head. Grassy hoppyness and some caramel in the nose. Also hints of apple. Light to medium-bodied. Grassy with some caramel. Quite standard German.

The beer starts smooth, slightly bitter and nicely smooth. The mainpart is smooth, slightly bitter. Caramel, malty, highly drinkable. The aftertaste is medium to long. Smooth, not too sweet, not too much caramel.
--> Nice beer but nothing that special. If I remember the "Schwelmer Bernstein" correctly, this beer is less sweet, which I like better. Nice to drink and smooth. Leaves a not too sweet caramelly and slightly bitter note on the tongue.

Golden color; generous head. Some malt aroma and flavor, some cereals, ordinary bitterness, very light cake dough. Too simple.

Bottled, thanks pivnizub. Clear amber, mid sized firm head. Doughy malt aroma. Mid sweet with light-medium body and firm, soft mouthfeel. Generous bready raisiny malt. Slight grassy bitterness. Very well balanced.

Light hazy amber, golden lacing foam. Honeyish aroma. Honey, nut and bready malt. Herbal, somewhat metallic hops to balance. Chewy, but light body, mellow mouthfeel. Spicy honey aftertaste, slight grainy stickyness..

Leicht bitterer Start mit wässrigen Karamellnoten. Im Mittelteil getreidiger, wenig herb, fast metallern. Zum Ende laff herb, Wenig röstig-karamellig. Kann mich nicht überzeugen. 11/8/9/9/8/9

(swing top bottle) Clear, bright amber colour with a big and slightly beige foamy head. Slightly draffy caramel-malty aroma with notes of herbal and slightly grassy hops, accompanied by traces of Cantuccini cookies in the background. Bitter-sweet flavour, light to medium bodied with a moderate carbonation. Cara-malty and slightly bready taste with rounded herbal hoppy notes; dry bitter-sweet finish with herbal hops and a tinge of cara-malt in the aftertaste. Interesting Vienna-Pilsener hybrid. 17.II.12

bottle, kindly donated by pivnizub - díky moc! Clear, deep golden colour, large white head. Slightly sourish malty nose. Medium-bodied, malty base with nice herbal hops, slightly medicinal. Spicy finish after a malt dominated middle part which also has hints of darker malts.

Bügelverschlußflasche (fortunately not discovered by MoritzF!): Deep golden coloured, quite stable medium-sized white head, grainy nose with a touch of cardboard; mild to moderate sweet-bitter flavour, light bodied; shorter grainy and papery finish. A "trendy" and disappointing brew…
