Bottle at home. Aroma is malt, bread, floral, fruits, herbal notes, hint of yeast and hops. Flavour is light sweet with a hint of tartness and a little bitterness in the finish. Body is medium. Certainly drinkable, but hardly a good Saison, I mean where’s the funky yeast?

Bottle 50 cl. Pours an almost clear amber with an off-white head. Malty nose, caramellish, slightly metallic. Medium body, malty, phenollic, even has an underlying touch of mold. What a weird brew, not even closely resembling a Saison. 150318

Nut brown-reddish color, medium-sized beige head. Light tartness, berries and fruits in the nose. Light to medium-bodied, quite good for ABV. Red berries, light tartness, Feels a bit too berryish and slightly tart for being in top condition.

Bottle. A slow gusher producing a lightly unclear amber colored beer with a bubbly beige head of moderate size. The aroma is quite fruity, both fresh fruits and dried fruits actually, orange notes and prunes, grass, peppery hints and some yeast. It’s medium bodied, semi-dry and rather effervescent, with a subtle, pleasant bitterness to deal with the fruity sweetness. Sort of Dubbel-like flavor with more yeast and spices than normal for that style. Long fruity finish. Sure not your average saison, but it’s a tasteful and pleasant beer anyway. Way too much carbonation though. 170327

Botella 33 cl del señor lupulo Gijón tomada en Belmonte 03..03..2017. Fcpref 25..04..2018. Lote B410029. Color ámbar bronce oscuro turbio con espuma beige. Aromas y sabores maltas ligeramente tostadas con toques de caramelos algo toatado también y sensaciones de hierbas mojadas y maderas empapadas. Cuerpo ligero fácil de beber algo espumoso. Normal. Sin muchos sobresaltos.

[ As Edge Brewing Chance Encounter ].Unclear medium orange amber color with a average to large, frothy - creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, fruity, light nutty, light dried fruit. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a long duration, figs, caramel, light dried fruit, nutty notes. Flaska drucken med ölföreningen. En torrhumlad lätt halvmörk saison med lite trött humle. Ganska torr, och frisk, väldigt lätt kropp vilket torrhumlingen nog förstärker, lite gräsig med en gnutta citrus utan större saisonkaraktär. Lite som en torrhumlad Brooklyns 1/2 ale och helt okej men inte mer.
