Bottle @Ulfborg Scooper. Black, small beige head. Aroma has dark berries, black currant in particular. Flavour has light peppery notes, starts like black currant but turns into the promised raspberries. Very berry-ish, a little odd.

Interesting. Very fruity smell. Nice stout with plenty of licorice root. Raspberry clearly there, just the right amount. Slightly peppery.

Collab of Oedipus and Jopen with, weirdly perhaps, raspberry and black pepper... At GBF. Moussy, lightly lacing, pale greyish beige head, blackish colour with mahogany edges. Aroma of coffee, roasted peanuts, bitter (fondant) chocolate, indeed red raspberry but not so much the tomato-like quality I am used to in beers made with actual raspberry, cocoa, peppery hints but not sure if I would be able to recognize it as black pepper if I hadn?t known. Low dry fig sweetishness is paired with a noble ?dried mushroom?-like umami character and an underlying blackberry sourishness further, but subtly, accentuated by the raspberry, which avoids outspoken sourness, so that the smooth caramelly, nutty and toasted malt bittersweetness continues along its way to the finish, where it gains a chocolatey accent and a spicy hint from both hops and the pepper; raspberry tartness remains very restrained throughout and adds a subtle layer of flavor. Very well done and indeed, seen the roasted, spicy ending and the 7.5% ABV, credible as an elaboration on the old export stout theme.

Aroma is a bit soapy. In the flavour the raspberry gradually grows and becomes pleasantly sweet. Some roasted notes too. Improves with each sip.

Thank you for sharing! Sampled 330 ml. bottle @ Gents Bierfestival 2016. Black, little mocha bubbles. Nose is low cheap raspberry jam, lightly vegetable umami & chocolate malts. Taste is weird & messy, metallic, umami, herbal, overly herbal, metallic, cheap raspberry jam. Body is thin, metallic & umami. I expected more to be honest, it sounded better on paper.
