0.375l bottle thanks to Lore. Hazy dark brown body with no head. Aroma of toast, orange zest, dark sugar, brandy, wood, cloves, caramel and wood. Taste of orange zest, dark sugar, apples, caramel, wood, maple syrup and booze. Light medium bodied and flat. Not an everyday beer for sure, but it's still great.

Brown colour, almost no head at all, only some off-white lacing; aroma of dark chocolate, dried sour cherry soaked in cognac, orange zest, port wine notes and alcohol; taste of dark chocolate, dried plum and cherry, spicy alcohol, licorice and burnt caramel notes; great quadrupel

(Draught at Kulminator, Antwerpen, 18 May 2017) Dark ruby colour with frothy, beige head. Malty, fruity nose with notes of caramel, red fruit, oak wood and hints of Grand Marnier. Malty, slightly fruity taste with caramel, red fruit, oak wood, citrus and a certain alcohol bite in a sweetish, slightly vinous finish. Full body, quite sweet. Tasty, with a mellow and velvety mouthfeel and a powerful and rich taste. Very nice.

375 c&c shared by Marcus. Pours dark brown with a slight tan head. Mild orange aroma? Med body or so. Flavor is reminiscent of curaçao. Citrus in a somewhat hidden way. Subtle flavors with no real sense of heat. This is good.

Bottle, 2015 vintage (from pothouse). Pourse dark brown. Aroma is sweet, malty, cognac, sugar, dark fruits. Flavor is sweet and bitter, dark fruits, raisins, sugar, malt, wood, some orange and grapefruit. Finish is sweet and cognac-dry bitter. Has some booze kick, but it fits with the beer. Overall: very good, sweet and boozy in a way I like.

Almost clear dark brown beer, small pale tan head. Palate is airy and fairly dry, reasonable fine carbonation. Mellow dark malts, a little thin. Touches of bitterish dark chocolate and dry wood. Some dark orange on the back end. Light and mildly bitter finish. Not bad but it lacks the smoothness of some of the other Prearis Grand Cru’s.

Draught Very dense & fine pinkish cream head, receding with textbook lace over deep dark ruby beer. Extremely liqueurish nose with almonds, marzipan, frangipane; bit of orange, Mandarine Napoléon. Sweet, liqueurish, marzipan, but also fruity with peach, strawberry and orange. Very slick, viscous & rich, alcoholheat, good carbonation. You need to like sweet, but if you do, this is the one.

Bottle from BC Liquor, Park Royal, West Vancouver
Synthetic cork, vintage 2015, bottle 02914, bb 05/05/18

Brown color, generous compact head. Mild aroma, malt, caramel, a bit of fudge, caramelized fruits, that could be the Grand Marnier. Medium body, moderate sweetness, some caramel flavor, some booze, some orange (the Grand Marnier), but quite shallow overall.
Nice, but not spectacular, overpriced.
