Draught@brewpub (in stein). Deep orangeish golden colour with mediumsized white head. Aroma is sweet malts, some grassy hops as well as some mild fruity notes. Flavour is quite much the same with some slight toffeeish/diacetylic notes.

Draught at the brewpub. Clear light amber colour. Nice stable lacy white head. The flavour starts off clean, but a bit thin. Has a little chalk to begin with, that is nice enough. Slightly watery finish. Clean, but not so interesting.

On tap at the brewpub, 7/11/07. Deep golden coloured with a decent foamy, off-white head. Aroma of caramel, hay and some grassy hops. Flavour was malty with some red fruit and marmalade and a dry finish. Very enjoyable.

Draught@Greifenklau, Bamberg
Light copper golden color, good creamy off-white head. Rye-bread-malty nose. Rye, blackcurrant and grassy hops in the flavor. Medium-bodied. Some way personal but among Bamberg lagers, this is not among the best of them.

Draft. An amber beer with a thick collapsing head. The aroma is sweet and grainy with a light note of yeast. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of caramel, leading to an OK bitter hoppy finish with a hint of metal. The body is a bit thin.

(On tap) Beautiful, clear fully golden with a creamy, off-white head. Somewhat unclean, malty and fruity nose - reminds me of Danish microbrewed ales!! Medium body, light caramel notes with a rather hoppy finish. 071106

Bottled at Akkurat, Stockholm. Clear dep golden, rocky head. Grassy nose with plenty of papery/buttetry malt. Very dray and soft with spicy/grass hops and filling mouthfeel. Despite the richness of grassy hops it’s dominated by buttery dense malt. Very pleasant and quenching.
