Bottled at the bräuhaus
Cloudy golden color; big creamy head. The aroma is light, with some malt, very light flowers (original!), perfumy! Quite ordinary taste, with some citrus fruits and surprisingly bitter final. Out of the ordinary, closer to a Belgian Ale than expected; pleasant.

Yellow beer with pistacchio shine, thick dense yellow-tinted head. Very perfumed, spicey nose; cloves, vanilla, wheat; slowly fading. Sweet, slightly sourish taste, clashing from the start with some roasted taste, probably enhanced by hops. This last is typical Zum Uerige, the first is the Weizenbier characteristics, albeit somewhat drier, less fruitier than the Bavarians (but as to qualify this as American Wheat!?) Some banana retronasal all the same. Sourish tinge makes it appear lighter than it is already. Some slickness, and some spritzyness at the same time. From the first time I tasted this beer, I found it unbalanced: the Uerige housestyle (yeast?) clashing with the Weizen branding. BTW, Josh, it is drunk more these days, I saw. Give me the Alt anytime.

Slightly lemony and dry. I have no idea why they even make this. There must have been three hundred people in there and I had the only glass of Weizen.
