Ruling proudly over Glen Fyne and beyond, Jarl is our flaghip session blonde ale. A showcase for American hop, Citra, Jarl delivers waves of fruity citrus flavours and a clean finish. Jarl is the epitome of a modern classic - an easy-drinking, beautifully balanced session ale bursting with flavour. Fyne Ales was one of the first UK breweries to use Citra hops when we created Jarl in 2010..

Clear golden with a firm white head. Bright citra notes, pine, citrus zest, toasted malt. Medium bodied. Finish is bitter and dry. Loads of hop bits and flavor in this. Great session.

At 3.8% ABV, this could be the most accomplished hoppy session ale I have ever tasted. The citra hops have their characteristic early pop in the taste profile, but what is exceptional is how the taste sustains and creates residual bitterness through an extended period of time. This, along with several Brew Dog offerings, was the saving grace of a recent trip to Scotland. A special session ale that I would snap up if it were available in Canada.

From cask at The Guildford Arms, Edinburgh. Light and citrusy with soft biscuity malt, some orange, light floral. Gentle light to mild bitter, light sweetish. Easy, makes for a good lunchtime beer.

This might be the ultimate session ale! Incredible citrus aroma. Bery similar to the avalanche and hurricane jack, but its more pungent, and intense. Great big juicy notes of grapefruit, and a touch of skunk. Perfect body and carb, at 3.8% you could drink this forever.

Bottiglia.
