Jarl is the epitome of a modern classic - an easy-drinking, beautifully balanced session ale bursting with flavour. On tap/cask at BBF ’13. Clear golden colour, no head. Aroma of citrus, passionfruit, a little cloying and typical English nose. Flavour is something else, firm zesty hoppiness, citrus, passionfruit, light grapefruits, lime, bitter hoppy finish. Light-bodied, watery, but tasty.

Sampled cask @ Borefts 2013. Clear white wine with no head. Nose is light apple, honey touch hop. Body is a bit watery, herbal, slightly mineral, some bitter hops & slight grapefruit hop in the back. Light & watery. Okay but not particularly exiting. The other Fyne stuff was way more exiting, bit confused here about the very high score.
