375 Bottle. Batch 3. Pours an odd pinkish color. The aroma is strong with cranberries, honey and some woodiness. The taste is a big and bold blast of very tart cranberries. The palate is full and just a bit sticky. Finishes long and tart. Overall: The tartness nicely offsets the honey sweetness. This concoction really captures the essence of cranberries.
Unexpected batch 3, just lovely, heavy cranberry juice, but almost no tartness in comparison, just a hint at the finish, perfect balance of honey and cranberry.

Courtesy of Matt, corked bottle
Red-brown colour, last pour of the bottle, it's cloudy, yes I poured some sediment too. Tart and fruity aroma, sweet, hint of vinegar. Sweet, toothaching, medium tartness, but not well integrated and hardly balancing the sugars, fruit juice, generic berries, table grapes too, and again a note of acetic acid, mostly notable in the finish.
Rich honey, but not as balanced as the best Schramm's, and with an unexpected vinegar note.

375ml @ Ryan's. Appearance: a bit hazy copper with no head. Aroma: fermented honey and some berries. Taste: very sweet, lots of honey, some berries. Overall: a bit weird, but pleasant enough.

375mL bottle, pours a hazy pinkish red with a few bubbles of head. Nose is full of intense gently tart cranberry, followed by plenty of honey nectar. Flavour is full of a wonderful mix of cranberry, bees wax, and honey nectar. Syrupy palate, with intense bees wax and honey nectar. The cranberries are prominent upfront but quickly defer to the intense waxy honey. Lovely stuff.
