16/VIII/17 - 30cl bottle from a Dutch supermarket @ Taste and Waste session 1 (home) - BB: 18/XI/17 (2017-1241)

Clear pale blond beer, big irregular fizzy off-white head, little stable, falls down quickly, bit adhesive. Aroma: lots of overripe banana, sweetish, not much else to detect here. MF: soft carbon, medium to light body. Taste: banana, unpleasant bitterness, banana peel, little malty. Aftertaste: lots of banana, soft bitterness, bit metallic, more banana, sweet and malty. What's up with that banana profile?

Sampled from 0.33 l can from ’AH XL’ (Roermond), best before October 2017. Clear, golden yellow with a medium large, frothy, almost stable, white head. Sweetish, malty aroma of grains with hints of straw and cardboard. Slightly sweetish, malty taste of grains, a touch of straw and hints of cardboard, followed by a short, moderately bitter, grainy, minimally grassy and slightly metallic finish. Medium body, slightly effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Not very nice, not sure if this beer has actually seen any hops.

Plain lager with little taste. Some soft maltiness and hops. Backlog from 2014/06/07. --- Beer merged from original tick of Kornuit on 07 Jun 2014 at 19:31 - Score: 5. Original review text: Pils met weinig smaak en karakter, lijkt gemaakt om in grote hoeveelheden te zuipen, helaas is t daar niet lekker genoeg voor

Bottle from Albert Heijn Amsterdam drunk on a park bench. Pale gold beer. It’s cardboard and corn. Not a good pale lager. Ugh. Don’t want to finish this. So I didn’t.
