Aroma of sweet malt, caramel, some chocolate, dark fruits, raisins, herbs. Flavour is sweet, a little boozy, with a light bittersweet finish. Smooth and lovely winter brew.

Bottle at Studenterhuset. Pours dark brown, almost black with a thin dark brown head. Aromas of caramel, sweet dark fruits, slight coffee, vanilla, some spices. Taste is slightly roasted, licorice, some vanilla, dates, raisins, liquor, slight coffee and chocolate. Pretty thin body.

Big light brown slightly fizzy-creamy longlasting head. Aroma is slightly dry boozy, weeds, minerals, paper, bark, booze, dark malts, sour coffee, grass, hay, burnt toast, sawdust. Taste is slightly dry mineraly, weeds, booze, bark, metal tank, paper, minerals, hay, burnt toast, sour coffee, grass, soil. Medium bitterness, slightly watery and harsh metallic mouthfeel. Meh!

Flaska från SB. Teakfärgad vätska med medelhöft beige skum som lämnar en hel del rester. Doft av muskovado, torkad frukt, choklad, mörk karamell, buret av alkoholvärme. Potent och sött fortfarande efter tre år, kanske väl sött och aningen enkelspårigt men annars en bra belgiskorienterad vintervärmare. Gott.

Opaque dark brown beer, tidy tan head. Palate is smooth and semi dry, decent fine carbonation. Smooth dark malts, some nicely integrated caramel - toffee. Touch of licorice. Cooling smooth spices with some tangy fruits underneath. Smooth finish. Comes over as a mellow spiced porter. Very smooth.

Bottle. Creamy lightbrown excellent fully lasting head. Red amber colour. Moderate malty and hoppy and yeasty aroma. Heavy bitter flavor. Long heavy bitter finish. Creamy palate.

KRS 081114. Dark brown colour with a tan head. Aroma is roasted malt, malt, spices, caramel, chocolate. Flavour is roasted malt, spices, caramel, chocolate, coffee, alcohol. Full body. Nice beer.
