Aroma of malt, caramel, mocha coffee, roast. Flavour is light sweet with a moderate to medium coffee bitter finish. A bit thin for a coffee porter, but enjoyable enough.

Bottle. Dark brown color, cloudy. Mocha coffee and malt in the aroma. Malty sweet caramelly roasty mocha coffee flavor. Low on carbon. Nice, but could be better.

Disappointing coffee porter, not the kind of powerful flavor one wants from a coffee beer. Backlog from 2015/01/30.

25 cl bottle @ home, a bit past the bb date (which was 13 September ’15). Black color, but not quite opaque. A beige blanket of foam, slowly receding. Aroma’s are sour-ish/fruity, roasted, a bit mocha-ish. Retronasal: sour again, roast, a bit wood, ground coffee. Flavor is moderate sour, roasted. Light bodied. Finishes ashy, light bitter. Meh.

Chelmsford Beer Festival. Bottle share thanks to Tommy. Murky amber - brown beer, small pale cream colour head. Palate is crispy. Mellow but fairly tangy fruits. Tang edging toward sourness. Little cherry, Mellow coffee, again with the tang. Okay.

(Draught at Arendsnest, Amsterdam, 27 Feb 2015) Dark brown colour, slightly hazy, with brief beige head. Roasted, malty nose with lots of fresh coffee and notes of black rye bread. Malty, roasted taste with coffee, dark bread, cacao and a balanced coffee bitterness in the finish. Light to medium body, quite dry. Tasty, but wouldn’t suffer from a bit more malt body to match the coffee. Quite nice.

25 cl. bottle @ home, bought online @ Biernavigatie.nl Hazy brown with a thin beige head. Aroma is, no suprise here, full of coffee. Taste is basically that of cold fizzy coffee. Thin body, low carbonation. Not that good.
