0,33 l bottle. Pours slightly hazy amber golden with medium, quickly dissipating white head. Aroma is generally fruity, a bit of caramel, dough, pollen, some citruses and a spicy note. Coriander. Taste is medium sweet and low bitter. Finish is medium long, medium bitter with a spicy twist. OK, not as complex as some more prominent Belgian triples, but decent and drinkable nevertheless.

Bottle at Hops, Crewe. Pours a slightly hazy golden amber with a small foamy almost white head. There’s a sweet boozy aroma of honey, coriander and yeast. In the mouth it is quite sweet but with a little underlying sharpness, and a creamy almost cloying texture. Flavour has malts, honey, orange peel and hints of pear with traces of banana bread and herbs coming later leading to a quite spicy finish. This is pretty d*mn good – and dangerously drinkable !

bright yellow/orange pour. Aroma is quite nice! Some nice apples, pears, peach, and some interesting floral/honey/banana esters. The yeast really went to town on this one. Flavor sadly isn’t as interesting. It’s very sweet, and a touch cloying, there honey comes through in the slight syrupiness, and there is some booze int he finish. There is an odd bitter pear in the flavor that i can’t shake, and it really taking away from the beer. shame.

Aroma of malt, fruits, and honey. Flavour is more honey, big sweetness, too sweet for me I’m afraid.

Pours a clear golden amber with small white top. Aroma of pear drops, fruit salad confectionery, honey, malts and light yeast. Taste is quite malty and yeast noted, hints of banana bread, pear drops, grassy to herbal hopping, nice spicing in the finish. Medium body and spiky carbonation. I don't think its overly sweet but could do with a touch more bitterness. Tasty though.

Most deffo a ketchup rate ... scoped originally on a Belgo drinking trip circa 2000/2001/2002. Bottle at the Dovetail Farringdon, Xmas works drinks, 06/12/24. Almost clear golden topped with a white crown. Nose is floral notes, Belgian yeast esters, modest honey tickle, herb, light breads. Taste comprises caramel, hint of dried fruits, subtle enough honey, straw, grains, herb. Medium bodied with bite, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a tickle of alcohol. Tidy enough Belgo strong ... honey is balanced and doesn't run this too sweet.
