This is a fairly new style of beer called New England IPA/DIPA. The aim is a big and juicy mouthfeel that incloses the hopflavors. It’s light in colour with lower bitterness than your regular Double IPA. Utah DIPA is profoundly hopped with Citra, Mosaic and Cashmere. The beer is highly aromatic and flavourful.

Can@Mats. Deep golden colour, small head. Aroma is floral, some toffee and some mild alcohol. Flavour is fruity, floral, toffee and some mild herbal and nectary notes.

Cloudy beige beer, small creamy off-white head, unstable, non adhesive. Aroma: nice, tropical fruits, juicy, good stuff up front, then it gets a bit more dusty with notes of grains and hay. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: bitter start, a bit fruity, bit oxidized, slightly sweet. Aftertaste: sweet touch, malty, good bitterness. Decent but not great, probably a bit too old, despite still long before it’s BB-date.

0,33 boks fra Söta Brors utvalg i Strömstad, hjemme: lett uklar gylden med fint skum som varer. Sunne og overbevisende inntrykk av appelsinmarmelade, tørkede aprikoser, granskudd, lynghonning og annen helsekost. Deilig maltsmak i tillegg, og ettersmaken er utmerket. Et ekte velværeprodukt.

Can at home from Stockholm, Systembooget, 12h November 22. Pours clear and golden. Aroma is citrus and pine resin. Taste is caramelised citrus and pine, medium bitter, nice DIPA

Golden, cloudy with a medium lacing white head. A tropical fruit aroma, yeast and lemon sense. Bittersweet with a sharp tropical, spices and lemon ending.

Tap at Beer Hunters. Murky yellow colour and small white head. Overriped tropical fruits, citrus, mango in the nose. Medium-bodied. Citrus, mango, a bit fizzy carbonation, sweetish. Ok.

Can picked up from Κάβα Οινομάθεια or in English Oinomathia Cellar a wine shop that has a great selection of beers in Volos and consumed at Camping Bekas Beach, nr Epidavros, Peloponnese Greece 6th September 2021 A murky yellowy pour, with a white head, sweetness comes through, very soft mouthfeel, tons of tropical fruit, mushy, lovely overipe pineapple, banana etc. Good beer.

Smell of pineapple, some spruce. Cloudy amber colour, high white head. Aroma of juice, pineapple, some generic hops and tropical fruit. Medium sweet. Medium carbon.
