Bottle, Beer Moth, Manchester. Black pour with a tan head. Nose of burnt malts, chocolate and booze. Flavour had plenty transpiring and was comprised of dark fruits, coffee, roasted malt, grains, and more chocolate in tandem with some subtle hoppage. ABV pretty well smothered. Smooth, full and very drinkable. Quality stuff.

Pitch black. Creamy espresso head. Roast bomb with ashy charcoal and chocolate. Taste is even better. Great profile that would taste great in a barrel. Roast chocolates, coffee, creamy vanilla and spice of rye and pepper. Easy to drink with just a minor hint of booze

Bottle at Deano’s monthly tasting, September 2013. Poured a deep mahogany with a frothy tan head. The aroma is rich alcohol and coffee. The flavour is medium to strong bitter with a creamy smooth roasted malt, coffee, chocolate palate. Well drinkable.
