Hoppy Feet has been lovingly crafted by combining premium malt with lots of Amarillo and Columbus hops. Grapefruit and Pine are balanced on the nose and on the palate by a nutty, dark chocolate, roasted backbone.

Can from tfontana, thanks again Dark brown bordering on black with a good sized tan head that shows moderate retention. Caramel and hints of chocolate and roast with more pine than citrus. Solid old school hop and caramel bite.

Can from the 12 Beers of Christmas Pack - Day 11. Poured a nearly pitch black color with a small tan head. Aroma had decent roast. No burnt hop flavor that I often get from many black IPAs. Roasted malts, chocolate. Floral hop finish. Nice.

(Bottle) Pours black with big beige head. Nice aroma - pine and roasty coffee. Medium body with good carbonation. Taste starts with a mix of sweet malt and dark roast malt; the sweetness retreats and a big hoppy bitterness emerges and mixes with dark roast and coffee bitter notes. Great black IPA. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle at KØ16. Bready and vinous aroma. Very dark brown colour, small off-white head. The flavour is vinous, caramelly with a good fruity and grassy hop note. Good mineraly mouthfeel.

Bottle pour into tulip glass from Greg & Jane’s Beer and Wine. Aroma is roasted malts with hint of anise, chocolate and pine. Appearance is virtually black but dark ruby red with light source directly behind, finger width creamy beige head with no sparkle and mild lacing. Taste is balance of sweet and bitter roasted malts with light chocolate and hint of anise and pine as in aroma. Palate is medium bodied with light, thin texture, lively carbonation and pleasant roasted bitter finish. Overall, more on the roasted, malty side than a true balance between the sweet malts and the bitter hops. The contribution of the hops is more for bitterness than flavor. Could be a little thicker.
