Dark copper pour, with a small white head. A soightly funk barnyard aroma, with some minerals and quite a bit of sweetness. There are touches of stone fruits, and the funk is quite dialed back, which i expected for the style. I can see how this is much more approachable to lambic beginners.

Bottle at home. Aroma of sweet candy sugar, malt, caramel. Flavour is sweet with a hint of sourness. Body is medium. Girardin make one of the best Gueuzes in the world, but even they can’t make a worthwhile Faro. Guess I just don’t like the style.

Bottle: Starts sour than will change lightly to sweet. Hints of citrus, caramel that makes a well balance.

Bottle shared by MisoW, thanks. Malty aroma and taste, caramel, honey, sugar, wooden notes, medium sweet, light sourish notes. Medium body, malty sweet finish. Ok.

Bottle at a tasting, thanks to MisoW. Med-full body, very low carbonation. Low sourness, sugary, lots of caramel. Very light touch of barnyard. Average at best.

Bottled with a plastic cork, Girardin goes modern... Amber color. Not very much of an aroma. A vague woody caramelly touch. Sweet flavor, woody with lemon. Caramelly, dusty. A bit of nutty bitterness. Some sherry character. Likeable, but not my favorite from Girardin.

0.375 l bottle at Weekend der Spontane Gisting, Opstal, Belgium. Shared with lovely Anja. Clear oily amber colour, small lasting off-white head. Aroma is dried fruit, figs, cork, cardboard, malts, light cocoa. Slightly aggressive oxidation. Grainy, sweet, fruity, herbal touch. Light black tea, tart finish, even bitter. Mild lemony acidity in the back. Moderately lasting finish.
