It’s time to bring back a classic. Our Baltic Porter proudly celebrates a traditional style that’s tired of being overlooked. Each sip boasts notes of brown sugar, graham crackers and dark fruit. The moderate sweetness is balanced by the bite of the 8.5% Alc. by Vol. The smooth depth of this beer is rounded out by the lager yeast, giving this beer the bold character it deserves.

Tap Social at State Line. Black beer with dark brown head. First reaction is it seems like a heavy beer despite the medium alcohol and surprisingly for a layered beer. Aroma has smooth roast, not acrid, fuming, lightly rich. Light mineral character but not acrid black malts. Mouthfeel is thicker, smoother than I would expect for a layered porter. Still ale like with earthy black malts, lightly black syrupy rich without being decadent. Fun beer, doesn’t seem layered but fun.
