Grand tasting at Craft Islington with Hackobock. Thanks to Jacob. Almost clear amber - brown beer, thin pale tan head. Palate is smooth and semi dry, decent fine carbonation. Smooth dark malts, trace of bitter roast. Light pine. Red berries. Mild hop skunk. Bitter floral fruits. A bit thin overall but certainly not lacking flavour.

33 cl bottle from the order by bottle segment at Systembolaget. BB 2017-03-16, sampled on December 21, 2016.Pitch black color, fairly large lasting to the creamy side tan to light brown head that leave lacing on the glass. Malty, fruity, light roasted, a bit laid back but nice scent. Roasted, bitter, some rubber phenoles, mineral taste. Pith, bitter, husky, harsh aftertaste. Lasting lingering harsh bitterness. Medium a bit low CO2 mouthfel, medium high bitterness. Also some rubber phenolic aftertaste.Unbalanced and a slight bit unclean with the phenoles. Also overdone bitterness that with the dry and harsh husky parts feels a bit flawed. Difficult for me to really drink it.
